Job Title: Service Engineer
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:30pm plus overtime)

Job Description: To undertake the maintenance, service, repair, commission and refurbishments of pump stations and sewage treatment plants in and around the North East Area.
- Undertake the maintenance, service, repair commission and refurbishment of sewage treatment, pumping stations and associated equipment, including electrical components
- Carry out both planned maintenance visits and attend call-outs where necessary in a timely manner
- Examine and report any defects, report any abnormalities
- Supply details, measurements, and full descriptions of any components that require replacement
- You must be able to work well on your own and within a team
- You will manage your own workload to meet company & customer demands
- You will communicate regularly with customers and colleagues face-to-face and over the phone
- Knowledge of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations is desirable but not essential
- Electrical qualifications are desirable but not essential
- You will be supplied with a Company vehicle so you MUST hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence
- You will be supplied with a Company mobile smartphone so knowledge of using a smartphone is desirable
- Standard hours of work are 47.5 per week plus overtime
- A flexible working attitude is necessary to meet the client and business needs
- You will be required to stay away overnight occasionally
- Taking part in a call out Rota – with other engineers in the Service Team – approximately 1 in 7 weekends
- CSCS desirable but not essential
- Full training will be given to the successful candidate
The first 6 months of employment are probationary. In house training will be given for successful candidate.
